Biography

Sajjad Moazeni is an Assistant Professor of Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE) at UW. He received his Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from UC Berkeley in 2018 focusing on large-scale and energy-efficient electronic-photonic integration. He received a B.S. in Electrical Engineering from Sharif University of Technology, Tehran, Iran, in 2013. Prior to joining UW, he was a postdoctoral research scientist in the Bioelectronic Systems Lab at Columbia University from 2018 to 2020. His research interest lies at the intersection of integrated system design and photonics with applications in computing and communication, sensing and imaging, and life sciences.
